Several field studies since 1988: language and education planning, sociolinguistics and language didactics.
1988/1994 Works on the didactics of FFL and the Alliance Françaises Network (Texas, Louisiana, Mexico, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru).
Language contacts and bi-/plurilingual education (Ecuador, Columbia, Mexico, Algeria)
FFL teaching, immigrant children, development of interlinguistic and intercultural activities.
As from 2002: in collaboration with the IUFM in Corsica, a research plan on the development of plurilingualism and pluriculturalism in primary schools.
